I live just outside of columbus ohio where dimebag and his brother where shot dead because of a mentally ill ex marine wasn't taking has medcation the quarner report found no trace of it in his system.

He scaled a wall shot a couple of guards and then eventually made his way on stage. at first he was going to try and shoot them in their trailer but they where already on stage.

The shooter died because a guard shot him with a shot gun. A couple of fans thought they pulled dimebag off stage to perform CPR but it was chief of securty. people already pulled of dimebag but he was already dead when he took a shot in the head at point blank range.
