It was a normal day like any other at East Otaru Shrine. She woke up, grabbed her training sword and went outside to practice in the snow. She was still a fox demon then. With fox ears and a tail. Her powers at their very peak.
But there was one problem. In the past she had a Sempaii who was very powerful. When she quit his training he cursed her with a a jewel shard broken off the hilt of his own sword. In their last fight he dropped his sword and the powerful jewel on the bottum of it that gave the sword it's power shattered and one of the peices flew into the very center of her forehead. Embedding itself into her flesh almost permanently. She won the fight but was cursed by who sempeii days after when he put it back together, missing that one piece the jewel turned evil and so did the shard. She herself became unpredictable, if she ever over-exxerted herself in a fight the shard would activate. Her powers activating it. She'd wounded Spike very bad once, by almost slitting his throat. When the shard de-activated she did not know what she had done and SPike told her. She was a danger.
But soon, since for awhile she remained at rest without training the shard momentarily disapeared. They thought everything was ok. And lived life like usual. Her and SPike suddenly fell in love. And many other things happened. She was happy.
Then all this led up to that day she disapeared. She stood outside practicing. Like she usually did every day. Knowing it was ok now that the Jewel shard was gone. Or was it? Suddenly out of nowhere it repeared, her old Sempeii standing before her. But he was not the same. The jewel had turned him evil. His own sword blackened now with evil. With one slash she was knocked out, her powers blocked from usage of defending herself. Thats when he took her away. Brought her to a dark place. No longer in Gaia. No longer even on the planet. She was just in a black void. The jewel shard kept her at bay for awhile. Sleeping mostly. When she awakened she paniced. Ran as fast as she could, but didn't get anywhere. Voices told her if she ever broke out that if she returned home she would not belong, she would not be wanted. She fought it. She knew Spike would come for her whereever she was. SHe tried to become a fox but found she no longer had the power to. The shard had taken that side away from her. A piece of herlself, chipped away by a small Jewel shard. Her clothes aswell became torn and dirty. Shadows constantly lept out at her and beat her, then she beat them back. Without knowing she became stronger. One day she used that strength because she was tired of waiting around. A huge explosion caused a portal to open and she fell through into The world of Gaia. Landing in a forest. She was out of a few hours but when she awoke the jewel shard lay on the ground in many peices. She was free from it's power but her demon form was still lost. She was weak from all the power she had used up. But determined she started a three week trek to find spike. Scared to go home because of the voices.
When she found him he was surprised yet sad. Things had changed alot since she disapeared. But despite all that he still loved her. And took her home.
