story:Ito is a normal 16 year old girl, except for the fact that she looks just like and boy and no one would know she was a female if she didn't say so. One day, a mysterious and beautiful girl, Makoto, transfers to Ito's highschool. They both become friends and Ito invites her to her house. Ito happens to walk in on her while she is undressing in the bathroom... only to reveal that Makoto is a man. It turns out that Makoto's dream is to become an actor, but his father told him that if he wants to be an actor, he is to prove this to him by living (requiring acting skills) his life as a girl for the next two high school years without anyone finding out. Ito agreed to keep the secret, as well as keeping others from finding out. As Ito's and Makoto's friendship grows, romance blossoms, creating a very unique relationship that must be kept a secret as well.

I like this series it's very cute but I hate how long it is, I'm surprised that Makoto's father hasn't found out that Ito knows Makoto is a boy It's been 11 books you idiot!!! anyways the series is good so check it out if you like shojo.

Revolutionary girl Utena
story:Just after Utena's parents died she was consoled by a prince who gave her a ring with a rose crest on it. Utena was so impressed by the Prince that she vowed to become one herself one day. A few years later Utena is attending Ohtori Academy where she gives all the teachers headaches because she dresses in a boys uniform so she can be like the prince she met long ago. After Utena's friend is insulted by a member of the Student Council, Utena fights in a duel for her friends honor. Utena's rose crest allows her to enter the dueling arena where Utena wins the duel and becomes engaged to the Rose Bride. Unknowingly, Utena is pulled into a series of duels with other members of the Student Council for the possession of the Rose Bride. As she becomes fond of Anthy, the Rose Bride, she must fight to keep her friend safe and to discover the horrifying secret behind Ohtori Academy.

Ok first off this series rocks! Even though It's suppose to be shojo-ai it barely has anything in it so all those afraid of yuri and yaoi are ok. This series will give you headaches and confuse you, in every episode these two girls girls appear and say weird things but if your not good at metaphors and symbolisms then you aren't going to get what they say till the end of the episode. The early episodes look bad but after the Apocalypse saga starts you'll be saying PRETTY!! The music is wonderful, at first you won't like it but by episode 10 you'll want to sing along.
You'll think all the characters are weird! They've got everything in here from lesbians to incest! Anyways beside all that creepy stuff this is a great anime that everybody should see so check it out.
