Well, I had it out online with my instructor who had the audacity to question the amount of careful studying I was doing because I asked for clarification of his sloppy, cobbled together assignments and their instructions after a ten hour study of the week's module. He had posted more extraneous material that I had just read of ten pages about and of his book that Simon and Shuster were publishing on Professy or Oracles or something like that. I told him that I'd done my studying, I knew how dot my i's and cross my t's having published myself in scientific journals and having written a master's thesis including my own research and a doctoral dissertation of like ilk and that I knew when it was time to quit. scream Then I went and asked my advisor to withdraw me from the course for which I will get a WF which will average in as an F. With "No Child Left Behind", mine has been. After two years, she's dropped out of "school" again when the new program they put her in didn't work, not to my surprise because it was thought up the first week of school without our input. Now I'm Mom taxi getting the young person to the program she supposedly left when ever she can be coerced to attend while another IEP can be made up for her. We'll be lucky if they can pull one off before the semester is over and she just LOST, for the first time, academic course work so she'll be behind her class. God, that's a downner for a Gifted Kid!!! stressed
We close on our new condo on Nov 2nd and moving is set for the week of Thanksgiving and, if necessary, the week after. I'm glad that it's just down the street and that we'll be owning again and not renting.
