Walking with my little sister, and another friend, I often had to reach down and grab the back of her shirt to keep her from falling down. The two little girls often told me they could do it, but would fall down soon after. but I kept picking them up and brushing them off.
Sometimes I think that God is just like this. We don't want him to help us with things, but he's there, holding on to the back of our shirts just in case. We don't want help, but we'll get hurt without it.
Sometimes God let's us fall down so we learn we need his help. That, and we need to learn to stand and walk on our own.
So when your going through a hard time, just know that God will pick you up when you need it, but he also wants you to learn to walk on your own.
