I haven't been on in awhile...I'm posting today. My material: My magnificent ability to sew nearly anything without a pattern.
Yesterday, I had the sewing bug so I busted out the machine and the world's most hideous fabric. I cut a square, folded it over and stitched the mo' fo'. I ended up making the niftiest bag.
It's a sling bag, with a "privacy flap," as I call it.
I am simply amazed that it all worked out considering I've never used a pattern and it was all inside my head. Pretty damn good for being me, completely inept when it comes to anything other than bitching, moaning, and eating. eek
I'd post pictures but the sheer hideousness of the pouch would destroy your monitor. Actually, my camera is out of batteries...Damn. Later.
