You know, in college, everyone is expected to be mature. People don't go to college just to complain about having to go. You either want to be there, or you don't; and if you don't, you don't go!
That includes the professors too, btw.
In high school, it's pretty sad if the (unenthusiastic, forced-to-be-there) students get to the classroom before the teacher.
In college, that's just plain pathetic.
Even more pathetic is waiting an half hour for the professor to show up, and then having a security guard come in and say that the professor couldn't make it and could you all please sign this roll sheet so he can see who all was here.

For a first-time college student on my first day, having my professor NOT show up to my first ever class isn't inspiring. In fact, it's rather UNinspiring.
Bad omen, I tell you. Bad omen. ninja
So, here I sit at home on Gaia, until I must return at 1:15pm, for the promised four-hour Statistics class.
Maybe that teacher won't show up either. biggrin
