Hello all, I just went to see the movie burning_eyes 'The Wickerman' burning_eyes which is a remake of the 1973 cult classic of the same name. The 1973 version rocked my socks. The remake stank to high heaven. Besides the sex changes of several characters, the American-ization of the whole thing, and the terrible beginning and terrible ending, this movie was a total slap in the face to all people who worship the mother Goddess. Thank you, Warner Bros., you just made an excellent case for the supression of all women everywhere. In fact, you should have just called this movie 'The Wickerman Episode II: Patriarchal Society Strikes Back'.
Do yourself a favor, skip the movie theater, rent the original Wickerman instead, and buy some popcorn with the money you've just saved. Also, think of the advantages of the original:
-Men in kilts
-British accents
-Occult symbolism
-Men in kilts
-The merciless slaughter of an uptight Christian
-Men in kilts
-Christopher Lee
-Christopher Lee...in a dress
-Men in kilts
-A lack of sexism
-MEN IN KILTS
Don't support Warner Bros. Don't support their sexist film and their complete screwing up of an awesome movie.
Don't watch it.
Watch the original.
