A fairytale story, never closing the storybook
The fairytale dream, that all girls have, mine was ruined.
I thought I had found my prince, knight in shining armour.
But the prince story was a fraud, you're a servant.
The knight in the shining armour, a piece of tin, a rusty sword.
Oh, but it doesn't there, oh no!
The perfect fantasy wedding, cursed by demons.
How could you let this happen? Are you scared? Blind?
Maybe you're too afraid, of actually doing something.
When I try, I get shot down, with a flaming arrow.
Every fairytale calls for a prince, and a damnsel in distress.
That much we have atleast, but wheres the villain?
Wheres the one, that was supposed to seperate us?
Were the Adam and Eve of our time. With clothes of course.
Perhaps the biggest sinners the world has to offer.
They're waiting, and watching our every move.
In a secluded area, everything is ours. Except for one item.
Let us basque in the sun, reminisque in the woods.
No object of affection, a ring, or necklace is too gaudy.
We never let them tell us when we were finished.
Always did as we pleased, it'll be like that forever.
Lets be reminded of all the minutes wasted.
Of all the years we've spent waiting for eachother.
Release all the stress, the anger from your veins.
Dream up another solution, drain your mind of wrong.
I ******** up big time, now I'm paying.
Save me from the villain, whose name is "Regret".
If all the decisions I've made were right,
then why does loving you, hearing you, hurt me?
Twist all the lies, the stories' truths.
All of them were dreamt up by hopeless romantics.
I don't want this to end up as hopeless romance.
Please don't let the storybook close here.
