Color Me Vampire Red
I went on a giant mall spree on Saturday with my mom and my friend. It was one of those girl's days out. It was really nice to not have my dad around, pestering me to hurry up and find clothes. I actually got things I liked because I wasn't rushed. I got a lot of great things from Rave--cheap too. That's probably the best store they have in there.
I picked up some semi-perminent hair dye from Spencer's. It is Vampire Red and it looks pretty awesome...too bad it's washing out so fast. I would like to find this color as a permeminent one. That would be so awesome. It reallly is a nice color...it's different, but not too bizzare. Oh, yes--I hit Hot Topic as well and bought a cute little sticker that says, "I Dig pale Scrawny Guys". Oh, how true...I do adore my emos. <333
I of course had to stop by Borders--I couldn't resist. I picked up Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. So far, it's pretty good. I have to say, there has never been a book where I have to stop reading because I am completely disturbed. This book has done and I love it. Plus it glows in the dark. This is the first of Palahnuik's work that I've read, and I'd can't wait to read more after I'm finished with this one. I completely reccomend it. As long as you can stomach it...
I finally, finally got to work at Club 87. I really like working there. I got to hear some great bands--a really good one that I can remember was Tonight the Riot. The only problem was trying to recognize who had paid for admission and who was just walking in. The only way to tell is by the Xs we marked with sharpie on their hands, which is very difficult to see. We sold one thing the entire time we were there and it was a Mountain Dew to Dave's dad. Ridiculous, no? Everyone keeps going to the store across from us to get things. Damn them.
We met the other guy who works there. He is called "Pretty Ricky" apparently. He has a staff name tag, but we don't. Dave said he wanted to make us some, but he didn't have any to give us. We said we'd make our own and that mine would say "Crazy Cupcake" and Katlyn's would say "C.K.". Dave said to go for it. It's weird that he considers us actual staff, but cool at the same time. I thought we were more like fill-in type of people. Secondary. But I guess we're more than that, which is sweet.
I guess some band members ther had no where to sleep. They asked if we had a place for them to crash, but we didn't. It's too bad too, because they had a pretty cute band member. Hehe. On the way home we saw lots of flashing lights. Police. Emergency stuff. We thought someone died, but it turns out the water main broke. We were vastly relieved.
More art! I liked this one a lot, so I put it in my signature, as you can see quite plainly below. It's so adorable! I just want to hug is forever! I might be opening my own art shop soon...I will open a free art thread at first, than move on to shop if I get a nice reaction.
