Was a victim of a fatal shooting on August 5th at a train station I occasionally stop at. Happened around late evening on that Saturday. Personally I don't know the victim, just an acquaintance. This victim was part of the band that friend of mine performed with a decade ago. I think I have video back then. Only talked to once maybe twice. It's been awhile since 2012 remembering small talk is iffy at best. Considering this friend was in their late teens back then so this victim could be in the mid to late 20s by the time of their passing. I will eventually visit the memorial where their life was taken away. Whoever is the suspect fled on foot eastbound from that train station.
