Aphelia is thousands of years old, and has cultivated her consciousness and physical form over the millennia's sheโs existed. She has listened to countless prayers and wishes, but out of the many she hears, she has answered very few. For each prayer and wish she completes, she gains more power. She, like many of her kind, is a culmination of hopes and dreams, and is considered an aspect of the very concept itself. Being the physical embodiment of a concept means that sheโs not able to truly โdieโ. Whenever a star reaches their end, they reincarnate. Itโs very typical that during their reincarnation, they fragment, and produce more of themselves. Aphelia herself is one of many in her current iteration.
Aphelia, being a granter of wishes and an avatar of hopes and dreams, is privy to the intentions and the wishes held in peopleโs hearts. That knowledge is intrinsic to her, and comes as naturally as breathing for stars. However, despite that, Aphelia herself does not understand humans well. She does not understand concepts like sympathy or empathy, and although she cares for, and loves humanity, her love can come off as condescending. She is gentle and curious in nature, and isnโt prone to fighting. She has a carefree attitude towards life, and finds the concept of mortality strange, to the point of morbid curiosity.
