Nova and I are putting together a book of all of the Ink/Stormy material we've accumulated over the years! Ink and Stormy are our characters that we've been roleplaying and drawing for about four years now, slightly less. Thus, we've come up with a lot of stuff, and it's time to organize that. A lot of you have been involved with their world through your own characters and creative input, so that's why we're posting here about the project.
This will include: # As many consecutive (and edited down to only story components) roleplaying logs as we can put together (which is a mighty load, knowing how I save every log except the ones that Neopets fiendishly deleted from us). # All the stories that have been written about Stormy and Ink and the extended universe characters as we can (with permission from their authors, namely Mitch and Danielle). # Then-and-now profiles of the characters as they've changed over the years, complete with art # Lots of arts from over the years from the two of us. # Fanart with permission. # A funny section, with silly interviews and stories like Danielle's crazy chaotic story.
Here's where we need your help!
1) What would you like to see, were you to read this book? Primarily, it's a book for us to giggle at and get nostalgic with (these characters have been a part of our lives for years and years and will be for many more), but we want to make it something prettyful, at the very least. What special features or chapters would you find interesting to read? Quizzes? Coloring book pages? Anything! 2) Fanart and fanfics! We really, really want to get a lot of input on this, and we can really use some scene illustrations, especially. If you're interested, let me know what kind of help you want to give and I'll set you up with the descriptions of characters/scenes, etc. The book is still in its planning stages, however, and it will take us a while to compile the massive amounts of material into one place. Thus, it may be a little while before we're able to give you an "assignment", but we should have enough in our heads right now if you want something to get started on. This would be amazingly helpful to the project. Any level of artist or writer is welcome, and you'll be fully credited.
Maybe this project will take years or will never be finished, but it's at least something fun to work on in the boredom of summer, neh? So if you're interested, volunteer!
