Last night was my first "official" college-age party experience, and I don't think that I shall ever go to another party like it.

Well over half of the people were inebriated, and the vast majority were only interested in getting inebriated. Where's the fun in that? Alcoholic drinks taste nasty or sickly sweet, then they allow your brain to be lulled into sleep while you do things that you wouldn't normally do. Then, some gerks have cameras....and before you know it, a picture of you frenching a girl you didn't know is up on the web for all to see! (Some poor girls from last night are about to find out just how many pictures were taken while they were "experimenting" on a couch)

For the most part, I yacked with people, tried out a few drinks, (I never finished one....they all tasted like hell), and watched people act like idiots. There were some funny things that were only funny if you were drunk, and there were some funny things that were only funny if you weren't. (IE, the girl who wrote all over a guy who passed out, or the fact that so many people could act like such idiots...)

All in all, I believe I have learned a couple things, and so it was not a complete and utter waste of time.

1) Only my friend can be drunk as heck and still manage to be smart
2) I am NEVER gonna get drunk, for I know that many people would love to get their hands on a camera and see me make more of a fool out of myself than I do normally
and 3) I will most likely never have a party at my house unless I know that the peopel don't drink. (Why? Because some guy puked his guts out on the driveway, there were a couple of smashed beer bottles, and the cops almost came in)
