Since Mari's arrival, the house has been more lively, and louder, than usual.
Koopa came in late at night, trying to catch her breath and immediately dove under her bed. Aussa, who was playing a new handheld game, stopped and stared at Koopa, confused. As Tina came in, she nodded and went back to her game. Tina was showing off her new form. Her cat features were gone and she had dolls ears, much like Dragon's. The lower half of her body resembled a snake's body with scales matching her pale skin. She danced about and slithered into her own room.
Aussa waited until Koopa had emerged from under the bed before she spoke. "You were gone for a long time, Kitty Zee. Where did you go?"
Dusting herself off, she answered, "Went to see Forby. He's still knocked out in the hospital."
"Really? Is he going to be ok?"
"I dunno, but I don't like how they treat him there. It's like he's invisible to the doctors."
"Maybe they blame him for what Lex made him do."
"Whatever the reason, I'm not goin to leave him in there like that."
Screams were heard from under thier feet. They both looked down then staired at each other.
Aussa tilted her head to the side, "Lex?"
"Yeah, that was him, but why is he..."
Before she could finish, Mari came out of the cellar door buttoning up her shirt and giggling. Aussa stared at Mari along with Koopa, who was twitching.
"What did you do?"
Mari sucked her teeth and placed her hands on her hips, "Nothing serious, if that's what you're thinking. Now I now if you'll excuse me." Mari head out the door and toward Barton town.
"She going away again, Kitty Zee?"
"Probably to another club..."
"Acutally, she has been looking for a job. I am suprised she hasn't told you though." Tina's soft voice made Koopa's fur stand on end. Tina hugged her sister and purred softly. "My! You are so tense! Why don't you relax, dear sister?"
"Hmm...could it be that my husband is out cold in a hospital that pays no attention to him? Or the fact that I woke up this morning with that mutt humping my leg? Or maybe it's because my sister turned herself into a naga, and won't stop hunting me for fun." Koopa glared back at Tina.
"Silly little sister."
"Yeah...sure...can you let go now? I need to go somewhere."
"Where?"
"Can I just go!?" Breaking free from Tina, she took off on all four, out the window, down the hill, and dissappeared into the forests.
