The short answer is, Bernie is a hypocrite and has a passion for all of communism.
In detail, Bernie has a long history of being a late bloomer and never holding a real job. While he targets his appeal to the lower working class, his plans only will favor the rich and politically powerful, like himself, fellow democrat politicians and the media who play along with their ideologies.
I strongly believe we shouldn't forget how America came to be and why we have this country. No, its not because of "evil colonizers", it is because we fled a socialist society whom taxed our hard work and controlled our human rights. We came to North America in protest to build our own country based on the morals of true freedom and to create something that had never been made in all of human history. We built a republic called the United States, where President George Washington could have so very easily made himself a kid, yet he prioritized his fellow people and CHOSE to be a president.
What G.W. started was the opportunity for a capitalism and the free market to blossom. Capitalism does not mean "money slaves" or "corporate greed", because while greed is possible, it is not the core meaning because every system will have its flaws. Capitalism is a system that is incentive based, which works for large societies where not every individual person can provide a service or business of their own, so they look to employment to contribute to the society. This allows us to work in teams other than small groups to expand ideas and allow technology, medicine, security and knowledge to flourish. This is a big reason to why the USA is the biggest contributor to medicine advancement and plays as security to a lot of countries.
Communism is the opposite. The only possible way for it to work is in very small units of people, where each person contributes to living. When brought into a larger system of people, it begins to fall apart to corruption and the inability to produce needs for living. While the idea of people saying "it could work" may be appealing, its important to remember that all systems of communism have failed and fallen into dictatorships and the sort.
Allowing a socialist to lead this country is dangerous because, in the words of the leader of the 1917 Russian Bolshevik Revolution, Vladimir Lenin, once said, “The goal of socialism is communism.” This has run very true throughout history, as we have seen with the countries that have fallen to communism. They all began with increasing the socialist ideas in their governments, until the corrupt leaders further convinced and pushed their citizens into a communistic government.
Bernie is very passionate in what he believes, despite it being wrong for the USA, and that's part to why I strongly believe he's a dangerous vote, he's radically married to his ideas regardless to him being unable to give a working answer to why and how they will benefit the country.
He is a hypocrite as well. For a long time, he was strongly against the millionaires and billionaires, vilifying them and dehumanizing them so that they could be a target to the uninformed working class, the "big corporations". Yet when he became a millionaire, his tune quickly changed to just the billionaires. A classic "them, not me" turn around. The thing is, these businesses and mil/billionaires help us. The actually handle a large chunk of taxes in the government and they supply us with new jobs, technologies, and charity donations. They are not villains, they actually help us out. And that is not me "shilling out" for anyone, its factual.
Medicare for all is also a dangerous concept. If you like having speedy care, America is the only place you'll get that AND quality care. When you ignore surveys where they include people's happiness with their healthcare, and look at data based on wait times and legit quality care, it's clear the USA is number one, and that's because of our freedom system. Canada, our neighbor, is a clear example to why a socialized health system will hurt americans instead of add them. That same exact money used for healthcare is shown in your taxes instead, whether or not youre getting help. Because it is free, this makes less incentive for people to do quality work, and to help wait times lower. A simple blood test could take you 2 to 4 weeks, while in the states you can get it by just walking in. As well as, there is the option to pay in canada, which people tend to go for anyway, yet the wait times are still bad and unreasonable. Within a socialized healthcare system, we also see little to no medicine advancement. Canada, as many other countries, actually rely on the USA to make those advancements for them.
While I understand why people dislike Trump, I think its important to look past what the democrats are saying and how rapid their behaviors change when things are said between them. Trump is rough and can be mean tongued, but when it watch his full speeches and videos, you can see he has a genuine care for the country and is a "Fixer". Obama delayed the economy's improvements, which is why Trump came in and showed his data to how he fixes things, because he is a business man and the goal of a business is success and growth. When you look at honest reports, he has done a lot of what he promised to do, which is something we have not seen in years. POC businesses are raising, the economy is the best its been in 50 years, and people are getting out of poverty. I used to dislike him because i listened to the wrong media, but when i researched I found that there was a lot he's done and learned why today's dems are a scary idea.
I really wish people would look further into the real details and not fall for tricks and lies by big media. If you don't believe me, go listen to any Walk Away speech, by people who recently left the left adn their reasons. Its an eye opener and far easier to digest than text.
