The Bare-Minimum "God"
I saw you as a God.
But, you left me out to rot.
Yet, I wanted you.
I climbed almost every hill and mountain for you.
Just for your "happiness."
That is if it even exists.
It was then I figured.
Figured that.
As long as rain falls,
As long as the leaves dance and twirl to every beat of the ever-changing seasons,
As long as the Earth stays polluted and beyond on days end,
you will never notice me.
Never love me.
Never stop me.
I am just...
A "mere" mortal.
A "mere" child.
A "mere" pawn.
A "mere" mook.
Someone you just "took care" of.
Someone you brainwashed into giving in.
Giving into your desires.
Giving into your problems.
Money.
Games.
Food.
Little trinkets or souvenirs.
All yours.
After all, I am just for your entertainment.
Well, entertain this!
My kill for kindness.
Filling you up to brim with adoration and compliments.
Just so that you-

There goes my full effort of proving how much I loved you.
My fair god.
You are such a fraud.
