The city of Kyomoto was once a thriving city surrounded by the bluest oceans and the whitest of beaches, with the greenest of forests surrounding the city on land. It was a thriving place for tourists. People from all over came to see the beautiful landscapes. It became one of the the hottest vacation spots in the entire world. The city thrived on income from tourists and from their own economy as well. It was a peaceful and well rounded city that seemed like a piece of heaven with how beautiful it was.
However that peace and tranquility ended when famous celebrity Akito Sato, was found dead in the fountain just outside Hotel de Lanzo. They assumed he had drowned first and originally thought it was a drunken accident because Akito was known for the his heavy drinking. However when the coroners did the autopsy they found no traces of water in his system nor could they find any traces of anything. Authorities checked his hotel room only to find that it was clean as ever. There was no signs of struggle or a fight. It left them baffled. However as they searched his room, they found a black card with a white reaper on it. On the back of the card, a message was written in what looked like blood, "You have forfeited your life. Upon your death, all will be revealed." They pocketed the card, which was the only piece of evidence they could find.
Just a day after, Akito was killed everyone got a message on their phones and computers. The screen was black with a white reaper on it. A voice crackled to life, "We are Erebus. Akito Sato has forfeited his life and all will be revealed." The screen went black, before it showed a video of Akito raping unknown teenage girls that were brought to him. When the video ended, the screen went black. "In his death, justice will be served for we are Erebus!" The voice crackled and everything went black. People were horrified about what they had just witnessed. Phones were flooded with the cries of terrified people. The authorities reassured them, that they were looking into it. That eased the public, but it wasn't enough. The case was forced to close because the authorities couldn't find any evidence on what had killed Akito, but they assured the public they had caught the suspect to ease their fear, even though it was a lie. Peace returned to Kyomoto and the case was forgotten.
