Hawk's World of Wonder! No, I don't sell MODchips...
Wherein Hawk drove back the oppressors with a pointy stick.
A good time in the hot town last night!
So yesterday was a busy day for me. First thing yesterday morning I had to be at school for my saxophone quartet jury at 11:00 AM. It went well and even the speech portion of what I did was pretty good considering I could find hardly anything about the piece and nothing about the composers. After that I went out to breakfast with Paul and Tim and we just BS'ed for a while.

I went back to the apartment after that and got changed into something comfortable for my Ear Training exam. I have to say that the exam...I think it went really well. I mean for once, I think I did a good job on it!

Anywho, the important part of last night came after all of that...MY DATE!

So I call Brittany and I tell her about what time I'll be at Downtown Disney. Things were looking good and I was looking to be right on schedule until WHAM...There's an accident on I-4 and I get delayed for 30 minutes. Brittany got to Downtown before I did...By 30 Minutes. Quite a kick in the teeth, eh? Well I eventually got there and we met up in front of Virgin Megastore.

Man...She is a beautiful woman...Anywho, I gave her the rose that I bought for her to say "Thanks for having a night out with me" and then we walked over to the AMC theater and went to the movies. Now I'll grant you that "Alexander" isn't exactly date material for a movie, but that's what Brittany wanted to see and dammit, it was a good movie. We sat through the movie and me being the Me I am was completely nervous during the whole thing. We're talking sweaty palms and everything. I mean, wouldn't you be if you were out on a date with a beautiful woman?

After the movie we went and walked around Downtown for a while. Brittany kept marveling at the fact that it was 40 degrees outside and I only had on pants and a t-shirt emblazened with the black letters spelling DORK on the front. I'm just a warm hearted guy, so I don't get cold that easily most times. We walked and talked for about 30-60 minutes and then I walked her to her car. It was a fun night for me overall and I'd definitely like to do it again. I will admit that I was a little disappointed because she's not looking to get into a relationship of any kind right now, but she's still a great person and friend so it's all copecetic. 3nodding

Now if only I can find a great woman like her who's actually interested in not only a relationship, but me as well.
