The beginning of the beginning

You know me very well,
I am close in your minds
Ready to usher you away from heaven
Oh, you know my works so very well
I sweep through
a sleepy little town
Strafe erupts,
Up and down
pain and suffering doth appear.
And as I show my ugly head
Everyone seems to disappear
but it is to no avail
I feed off pain
as I create it
I am most immortal
But even I have a weakness
An Achilles heel
Only one way is there to make me fall
Only one way to make me feel
All the pain
that I have created
only
and only
when ALL
the people of the earth
unite under one standard
but one of peace
not conquest
and that
mutual agreement to politeness
then and only then will I lose
all of my power.
Only then will
Will I wane .
My doom shall not come for a very long time
For my weak spot is small
I shall have many years of horror
Before my downfall
Even though my weakness can be shot
by any son of Adam
or daughter of Eve
(and anything in between)
it takes a dedicated person
and from the fates a weave
to start
the beginning
of the end
for me
