"Damn bodies, keep piling up around here." Kayden muttered more to himself then anyone else that was present at the time. Once again he and his partner had been called out to the site of a dead body. The thing that was special about the last few that had been popping up just on the outskirts of the city for the last few months were that the body was always usually mutalated in a way that made it look like a wild animal had attacked them. Something with big teeth and big claws, they never had anything in common that they had found so far...and they always dated the time of death back to the night of a full moon. With all that strange rolled up together it was getting frustrating, and the worst part is that it couldn't possibly be a real animal because none of the bite or claw marks fit that of any known animal...so some sick weirdo was going around staging some pretty elaborate murders.
The whole scene was tapped off as the crew moved around taking up evidence and looking for any clue as to who might have done this but it was tricky. He ran a frustrated hand through his hair, this case on top of another involving more strings of bodies turning up drained of blood and the only wounds being to small punctures in the neck...people were so strange, a wannabe werewolf and vampire serial killers piping up in their city. It was enough to give anyone a headache, least of all one of the two detectives the department had decided to screw over and hand both of these strange and rather hopeless cases over to. He honestly didn't know what to think of all this.
Kayd glanced over at his partner, handsome as he was they were both exhausted from the last few days and all the bodies and families they were having to deal with. He didn't know what to think of any of this and hoped they could both get a good nights sleep before they next one popped up. He just wanted to get this weird s**t sorted out and get these killers off the stress.
