Again, I did absolutely nothing in school.
Juniors were at Great America for "physics" while I, being the procrastinator that I am, didn't turn in my field trip forms in time.
Seniors were at their Senior Picnic, basking in sunlight.
So I wonder why I even bothered to show up at school.
Half of English class gone, and literally all of the field trip people must've sat on the other side of the room, because we badasses on the left side were met with a gaping absence of people across from us.
And then there was Choir-- and no one ever knows what's happening in that class. I sleep obviously in front row, center, mouth open and probably drooling, while others sing and chat and do whatever choir kids do when songs are chosen for them. And the teacher doesn't give a second s**t.
Fourth-period Child Development was just a whole period of enjoying a spicy bowl noodle that I remembered I had in my backpack. The kids were gone, graduated, on the way to the big-kid arena of kindergarden, so there was really nothing to do. Plus, with half of the class absent, it was only assumed that we'd do nothing. Enrolling in Child Development has more than one advantage:
1. The kids... both a blessing and a curse, tbh
2. Can be quite entertaining, for better or worse
3. Having access to devices and supplies unavailable elsewhere on campus.
Today, I was really grateful for advantage #3, because I had to borrow a kiddie fork and heat up my MSG-flavored noodles in the handy microwave.
Spanish class after AP Exams is just chill-- especially when the majority of the class consists of juniors who are probably having a really educational time in Great America. But really, it's pretty fun to have seven people in class. Three of my classmates and I spent the period playing Life on the phone and half-watching the movie "Instructions Not Included," in Spanish, of course.
We're not complete slackers.
History class, as usual, got me thinking. My history teacher is absolutely bestest, and I just cannot. Mrs. Perry cries when making PowerPoint videos on social injustice, has the most entertaining and engaging lectures, every single ounce of passion and conviction bleeding through her voice, and just has a friggin' brilliant, coarse, genuine, witty, outspoken, dynamic, passionate, accepting, excitable, humorous, endearing, empathetic, stimulating, self-namedly 'crazy-liberal' air, personality, influence about her and I can't put into words how perfect she is and how much she inspires me.

It's 1/5/14, and in another year approximately, we'll be thinking, 'boy, that year passed by quickly,' and it's funny thinki
