The Lost Story of Kat
What Are We?
As a woman, I experience a lot of things that I will probably never understand. I will have a question about almost everything and probably never get an answer. But my question for today is why are woman supposedly "confusing" creatures? Is it just that we never know what we want? I mean, does anyone truly know what we want? I had an ex of mine tell me that Divergent was about woman empowerment. But the way he said it made it seem like it was just one more thing the world didn't need. He had no idea what he was talking about of course, but even if it was really meant to empower woman, where's the harm in that? Isn't that what we woman need? A little encouragement, faith, and hope could go a long way. I think that we need to be reminded that no one is perfect and that we don't need worry about how we look when we're becoming stronger or smarter or learning to survive. It would always seem like I would have things handed to me for being a girl, but I only wish that were true. I had to fight just like everyone else. So I take note when I'm reading a good book or watching a great movie, and so far, I've kept in mind that I could be more than just a girl. I can admire Tally Youngblood, Katniss Everdeen, and Tris Prior. Not just because they're girls. But because they're girls who never once thought they couldn't help or that they were good for nothing. We woman need to look at ourselves in a different way and realize what we are and what we can do.

Sincerely,
Kat =^.^=
