well why are they isolated? that is ver circumstancial.

Odd, almost useless of a question. Humanity and individuals... both can reject each other, and both will suffer. Would someone conform or be cast aside? To both, a terrifying decision. In a sense, humanity and individuality are complete opposites... as humanity will never disperse into separate planes of thought. People as a whole are brainless without more of them beside. But is it really such a good idea to follow something so shallow, and so effortless? Then again... in a humanity like this, who would summon up the courage to go against the current and follow nothing but themselves? And after that... who would encourage them? So did some choose to be cast aside, as they knew they would, in order to break free of pre-decided futures and blind opinion. Detach from the mass production... for nowhere in it is a dreamer, nowhere is there an individual.

You would have to throw away your emotions and suffer a life of solidary keeping your mind on puzzles all day long and have your purpose be singulary
