Fall of a Time Lord [ Fanmade Story using the Tenth Doctor ]
A long time ago, just on the edge of the time war, before the planet Gallifrey was destroyed, a young time lord was thrown away in to some kind of parallel universe through the cracks of time which ruptured throughout space. Once there, the time lord was trapped, and she was stuck in a place in which there were no other fauna. She was stuck in an alternate universe in which all fauna life had been destroyed, and flora life thrived in every planet in the galaxy. She was trapped here for at least forty years, watching the accelerated succession of the development of the first signs of fauna life, bacteria. Suddenly, one day, she found another crack in between her old reality, and the one she was currently in. She took her Tardis, one which had fallen in to disrepair, and set off back in to her old universe, the place where she belonged, giving the universe she had come to call home goodbye. The ride was rough, and the Tardis, which had no upgrades or work done on it in the forty years that she was trapped in that parallel world, began to fall apart. The young Time lord feared she wouldn't make it, and she would be lost and killed in the depths of space; such a horrible death. Soon enough, however, the tardis landed in an abandoned field in 2013 on earth, and the Time lord stumbled out of the machine. She looked back at the thing as it shut down, having used the last bit of power in it's run to get to earth, and the time lord gripped her chest as tears welled in her eyes. She placed a hand on the box, frowning lightly, whispering a goodbye to her dear friend before stumbling off in to the field. After a few steps of walking, the woman collapsed, gripping her chest. She was old now, too old, and the shock of the ride had been too much for her. She screamed as her heart hurt painfully, shots of pain going down her arm. She gasped, as she knew what was happening. She was having a heart attack, she was dying; soon, she would regenerate.

The Doctor looked down the street of a town in Northern Ireland, he was quite alone now. He ran a hand through his hair as his converse-clad feet started forward, making him move with really no where to go. Donna was gone now, just like Rose, and she would never be coming back. He closed his eyes and stopped dead in his tracks and he felt an ache in his heart. Poor Donna Noble, the Doctor Donna, the girl who had saved the Universe and more, and who would be remembered forever for what she did, but would never remember herself. She would never remember all the amazing adventures they had, she would never remember him. And again, Donna was that woman who missed everything; she even missed her saving the entire world. He let out a soft sigh and continued through the streets. Ireland was such a beautiful place and he felt kind of at home here. However, Ireland had a horrible and sad and hard past, and even though it was ridiculous, he felt as if only this country knew his pain. This country knew loss and hardship, it knew betrayal, and it knew loneliness; this country was the closest thing the Doctor had to a companion, and he almost felt sorry for the poor country, because he was vowing never to have a companion again. He was tired of the heartbreak, he was tired of the pain, and all that he ever brought to the ones he cared about was death. Death was an uneasy friend who followed him as a constant shadow. A group of children rushed passed him, laughing, and the doctor couldn't help the sad smile that came to his face. Children... so pure and innocent, unaware of what was happening... what he would do for the kind of innocence- He was stopped mid-thought by a gold cloud far off in to the distance on the horizon. He knew that energy from anywhere; there was a time lord near by, somehow, and it was regenerating. Without thought he instantly took off through the streets.

The energy finally settled around her and she found herself writhing in pain, she clenched at her hair and breathed heavily in till it stopped. With the pain finally got she stood up, or at least tried to. It seemed as if her body wasn't used to fresh and young legs. She made a sound, then tried again. This time she stood, albeit a little wobbly, and she found herself soon being able to walk. She rushed in to the skeleton of her old friend, her tardis, and searched around for a mirror of some sorts, snatching it up and looking at herself. Her eyes were wide at the differences that she saw in her reflection from her older form. Instead of curly, platinum blonde hair, dark brown straight hair now decorated her head. And in the mirror, what stared back were blue eyes, not green. Her lips were more fuller than they had been in her last incarnation, and she had a more Native American look to her. How strange, she had always wanted to be a native american. She heard a sound outside, and quickly snatched up a pole, looking towards the entrance of her friend. A figure showed itself, and the woman relaxed when she realized it was of a human shape. Finally, maybe someone could help her with the current time and setting of the place she was in and what she should be wearing and the such. She hadn't been able to look at the time before the tardis had died.

The Doctor had been shocked by the Tardis alone, it had been a very very old model and he had been wondering how it had gotten here at all! The last of the tardis's he knew of were abandoned on a dead planet far off in the galaxy... He picked up a noise, a subtle stirring inside the skeleton of this ancient thing. He took the sonic screwdriver from his coat and slowly made his way towards the entrance. He swore, if it was a bunch of kids in here defiling this poor thing he'd have a serious talk with them.. He stopped at the door, and what he found was a woman in front of him, in odd clothing and with a pole in her hand. His eyes got wide and he dropped the sonic screwdriver in his hand as he realized the garb of the Gallifreyans. He wasn't alone.. but how? How had this one woman manage to survive what had killed off the rest of his race. He quickly bent down and raised the sonic screwdriver towards the girl and started to walk towards her. He was all serious now, and his converse created cracks when he stepped on fallen pieces of this old beast. "Who are you?" He asked, his voice dripping with a hidden threat. He wasn't playing games, whoever this person was, if they had survived the time war, they could potentially spell a threat for the entirety of earth if not the universe.

The woman looked back at him, blinking at the thing in his hand before pointing at it. "Is that a sonic pulpaltion device?" The Doctor only looked at her, the serious look still on his face. "Yes it is. I've answered your question, now answer mine." The woman only smiled and laughed, seeming to loosen up before speaking again. "You know that can't hurt me, now put it down, you twit." The Doctor could only look at he girl in astonishment, putting the sonic screwdriver down. "I'm only going to ask you once again, what is your name?" The woman looked at him for a bit before sighing and crossing her arms, shifting her weight on to one hip. "My name," she said, a bit of annoyance in her voice, "Is Katrinn. Now you tell me yours." The Doctor blinked, then held out his hand. "I'm the Doctor." Katrinn looked at him, confused for a moment, before taking his hand. "Doctor Who?" The doctor couldn't help but smile at the inside joke, Letting off a small laugh he shook Katrinn's hand.

"Exactly. Welcome to Earth Katrinn."
