I can slowly feel him slipping away
When I signed this contract; I knew it'd be this way

If it wasn't for him I'm sure that I'd be
over the edge; unable to see
my way past the thick fog of pain and suffering
because he's not here to hold me

I'm laying on the floor
drowning in my own misery and tears
because he's so far away

and sometimes I'm afraid
that it's too far a distance
for my love to even reach...
