A collection of many things: vents, poems, and drawings, among many other things.
Stowaway
They always pass each other, but neither really takes the time to look at the other. As soon as their gazes meet, they part, like they can't bare to share a second. And it's painful for the girl, maybe for the guy as well. She never knows though, always second guessing why he left, in makes no sense to her. Always constantly looking in the mirror, wondering whats wrong with her. It's a miracle she hasn't run out the door, just screaming and crying. She hates everything about herself, except for one thing. Her sad eyes, so many people call them beautiful, and she believes so as well. Their the only thing she likes. When she stands in front of the mirror, she looks at everything but her sad, watery eyes. She looks at the mistakes all over her body, how one eye is slightly more closed than the other, how they are so small, how she barely has any curves or how her chin is slightly too blocky. Or maybe how her shoulders are too strong and her back is so broad. She hates it all, even her hair, which is so flat and is slowly starting to grow out of the color she last died it.
She sees why any one would leave her, why someone would run and scream. She sees how horribly looking see is, she's ugly. She knows that. But what baffles her, what bothers her, is why he even tried to stay at the beginning. Why stay only to leave? It's like going to a concert only to turn around and go back home. She's confused, and as she tears herself apart, she only comes up with more questions every day.
All she wants is the truth, why did he walk away, why did he leave when she had so much to give him, when she was ready to accept him, no matter what he told her? She thought she had been doing so good, so well with keeping him. She kept her distance when she thought he needed it, was there to hold him up when he needed it. She wanted to help. And she still wants to help, but no matter what she tries the boy won't open up to her, she feels like she doesn't deserve it, like no matter what she tries she'll never deserve it. She can tell he never tells the truth, just always says he's fine, like a stranger does to a passerby who asks them how they're doing. He won't open up and it kills her. But she can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped, so she always sits and waits for that day when he'll need her again.

What the boy doesn't understand is that he is far to late to do anything, no amount of what he can do can get the girl back now. The girl is like that one perfect day, there for a little to help everything grow, then is gone like she was never even there. While he walked away, while she cried and begged him to come back, while he disappeared, she found someone new. Someone who melted away the ice she had incased her heart in, someone who lifted her up and placed her back on her feet, someone who let her help. The new boy was much like a lion, bright and brave and wonderful; the apposite of the first boy who reminded the girl of a crow or raven.
The newer boy, he stopped the girl from falling in to that darkness, from falling apart, he held her together. And after a while the girl began to be able to live without the other boy, that newer boy filling the hole in her heart that never ever closed over.

One day the girl and the boy met up, and for a while they stared eachother in the face. Saying nothing, just exchanging glaces. they began to talk again, the boy starting the conversation again.

"Why don't you ever talk to me anymore," He asked.
"I tried, but you never replied."
Behind those words were an unspoken question, 'Why did you leave?' But the boy never heard it.

By then the boy was too late, the girls heart, who she had given him but he had thrown back, was closed to him. Even though she no longer loved him she continued to be kind, to try to help. Because that's what she did, that was her purpose, the only thing she knew. But he would never.. ever.. be able to reclaim her heart.
Because she found that one person who truly loved her, and she would never let go.
