Tonight at work, there was a small broken parcel-like box that was on the floor that sounded broken. To the best of my knowledge, it was on the edge of the line, then a bigger box came down and that’s how it got to be on the floor. I picked it up, wrote on it with a black magic maker; “Sounds Broken?” I couldn’t really tell just from hearing it when I shook it. So at the very end of the night, I got down cleaning, and organzing everything.. Then I went over to where my broken box was, so I could put it away with everyone else’s broken boxes. So I shook it again, or I picked it up maybe too fast… eighter way, some TINY TINY glass particles came out from inside and went into my eyes. It felt like sand. It felt gritty and hard to blink. I went over to one of my co-workers and asked him what should I do if I have glass in my eyes - though I pretty much knew after working there for 6 months, you go to the eye care station. Problem was, I didn’t know how to work it. So he told me to go see my Supervisor. I did. I got to her office, a few other people in there as well. I told her what happened then I followed her outside of the office to where there was a glass cabinet bolted into the wall, I guess she was looking for eye drops or something. She didn’t find what she was looking for. So then we went over to the eye care station, which is used for exact situations like this one. She pulled back a lever and there was like these two nozels things, like you’d see in your kitchen on the sink - I’m talking about the hose that you can pull out and spray with, that’s what these little things looked like. But you couldn’t pull these out. So I leaned down, first on my left, to get that eye wet. Then on my right. I did it a few more times. Occansionally dabbing my eyes with the clean inside part of the sleeve of my white t-shirt. Though at this point in the night, I was really dirty with some black marks here and there. She told me that if I feel like they start burning or anything, that I should go to the ER. I told her though that my moms car wasn’t working, but maybe one of my moms friends could take me. After that, I went back to my cage near my line, got my paper work, clocked out, filled out the rest of my paper in her office, then left to go home. As I was leaving, in the break room downstairs, I filled up my water bottle and put some ice in it as well. Once I got outside, I squeezed the water bottle close to my eyes and did the same thing as I did before. Then I went home, took a shower, dabbing my eyes with a wet wash cloth as well. Got dressed. And that’s it so far. I just hope I don’t wake up tomorrow and I’m blind. So I decided to write this as soon as I could after my shower. ^^

P.S. It feels like the far corners of both of my eyes are irritated. Like there might be like one tiny piece n the corner in each of them. I'm so glad that meh awesome job has awesome insurance. A $400+ ER bill or somthng, might be like $50. ^^ - Word of Adive Never go to the ER if you think that you lost oneof the cotten tips of a cotten swab used for cleaning your ear, stuck in your ear. The billthat i had for that was crazy. And all the "doctor" did was come in for like 2 seconds, looks inside.. And it nearly costs me around $400. e.e
