The Journal of a Miss Chase
Lucy
User Image"Look at her eyes!"
"There is no way she is any kind of normal..."
"That girl is, without a doubt, a freak..."

Lucy had heard all kinds of variations of these statements throughout her entire life. There were few people in the world who were born with violet eyes, and even less that managed to keep them into their adult years. She had always thought that people would be enchanted by the unique coloration of her eyes but that hardly seemed to be the case. In the middle of a fight with one of her ex-friends, they had let it slip that her eyes scared people, that looking into them made one feel as if they were under a microscope or seen right through. Of course that was hardly the case but no matter how hard Lucy tried after that to seem friendly and as less-interested in people's personal matters as possible, people still received the same message.
With few friends to be with and a very slim interest in finding more, as it was like trying to find a needle in haystack, Lucy began to travel frequently by night when she was not working. Lucy didn't even care about doing anything, just walking around the city was good enough to her. People would smile at her if their eyes met on the sidewalk and they would never realize her eyes were peculiar in the least as they were gone too quickly or could not see as well in the light. It gave Lucy the feeling that somehow she had managed to overcome part of the atrocity that came with her violet eyes.
This night was much like any other spring night. The air was crisp and still and minus a bat or two swooping down overhead to snatch up a suicidal moth who lingered too close to a streetlamp, Lucy was very much alone. What was not very usual about this night however was the feeling. Lucy always felt comfortable walking around because there was zero crime rate, minus traffic violations and the occasional petty theft, and all the shops were open until at least midnight where she walked. And yet this night felt strange. She got the same feeling as if she had slipped into someone else's jacket by accident. A little shiver rolled down her spine and folding her arms around herself, Lucy began to habitually look over her shoulder at random intervals. The wise thing to do would be to return to her apartment and check out for the night but Lucy was unusually stubborn on her nightly escapades and pressed forward, not realizing that she was entering a less occupied side of town.

((PM me to continue! I have a lot of RPCs, starters, and am open to virtually any idea. Please make this interesting though. I would prefer if you were a werewolf robot rather than just some guy on the street who finds her attractive and wants to pick her up. Make my day!))
