Good God! were the developers trying to make me kill myself? The gameplay is as good as sonic 2 on the Game Gear. IN FACT, This is what the game is! AN OVERRATED, OVERPRICED, UNFORGIVING, MASOCHISTIC, MONKEY F- -NG TORTURE DEVICE! Ok, this is what I personally think what happened during development:
"HEY GUYS, HOWS ABOUT WE MAKE THIS SONIC GAME GEARED TOWARD THE HARDCORE SONIC FANS!" "YAY!""LETS ADD A GRITTY NAILS-TO-THE-CHALKBOARD GENESIS SOUNDTRACK, SHITTY JUMP SYSTEM, WATER LEVELS THAT ARE DEEPER THAN SEGA'S EMPTY VAULT, UNFAIR LEVEL DESIGN..." "uhh....i don't think thats a goo-" "WHAT DO YOU KNOW, YOU PLAY SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG >;V." "can we at least do something with Metal Sonic?" "LETS MAKE HIM A DIRTY CHEAP BOSS LACKY WHO WILL BREAK THE GAME!"
this is unacceptable. I rate the game a solid 3/10
no, I change my mind. It gets a s**t smeared wall out of 10
P.S: never wear your classic sonic Shirt from your local Spencers store, It might drive yourself to become emo as you try to claw it off your shirt in rage
