looks to be a fun day today.
up early enough to see the storm, thanks to dad egging on the dog (bark, bark, bark, bark...)
didn't get to sleep until 2:30 because I was working on my room (and painting my nails with glow-in-the-dark polish and waiting for the bread to finish). Me being me, while there was still barely enough room to walk around I wanted to rearrange furniture. rolleyes
ended up putting a few little holes in the slanted part of my ceiling trying to move the dresser. eventually just took the mirror off and put it someplace else.
pulled all of the drawers out of my sewing desk, and am planning on reloading them (yay organization!) before putting them back in the desk.
also took the air conditioner out of the window to be looked at/possibly fixed. Pretty sure I inhaled an asian beetle corpse, only it went so far up my nose, it's in the back of my throat... O.e ew. In any case, I LOVE!! having a real window again!! whee
this project is indeed at least 4 times the size of the attic one. I need to finish it before tomorrow, so I will have the comfort of having figured out everything within three weeks of coming home.
yeah, I'm keeping track. trying to, anyways.
can't type worth a crap this morning. urrrrgh.
chiro in an hour and a half, after that gonna work out and then run some errands.
Got another little job lined up yesterday, too (so that makes the 2 "consulting" ones and cleaning, at this point. Plus eventually adding in painting the house and schtuff...). At this rate, I may not even need the job I applied for. ^^
why? I can charge $15 per hour for my own work. MUCH better than minimum wage~~ :3
right then. found a wicked awesome recipe online I'm gonna try tonight involving a baked version of sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. May just leave the rice to Karen and work on the chicken myself... we'll see.
