just watch me.
le gasp.

it's, like, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TODAY.

... that's too exciting, anyways.

church in the morning was fun, got to get up and move around and meet new peeps, had a small-group convo time to get to know each other, then had a church-wide rock-paper-scissors tournament, all during the service. xDD

can you say WINNING?! ^u^

then promptly had a hugenormous lunch of ham, chicken, half a salad, some corn, a bunch of that blissful fluffy stuff only the commons serves, and a slice of chocolate pie.

utter fail.

it was so good, though, that I felt guilty for even thinking about supper (served at the ungodly hour of 5 o'clock).

so I studied for a bit, konked out for 3 hours, did more homework, tried the workout again (I did it all the way through this time without cheating! (... for the most part) then just laid there for 10 minutes afterwards thinking how wonderfully crappy it was to be in my state), bumbled about on the internet (more on that later), went to Beauty and the Beast in 3D, and here we are!

we walked to the theater (=good exercise, except for the fact my legs are being weird and not distributing the load evenly), paid $10.50 for a freaking ticket (=just shoot me now, I just spent that much on a movie that's older than I am), got to see the whole thing from beginning to end (never did see the beginning before... we don't own it at home), and I ate kenzie's pistachios the whole time. xD

as for the internet! Mother's going through her version of culture shock in Haiti. she's constantly emailing me, saying to forward such-and-such a message to such-and-such... :glare:

I don't enjoy being a messenger for one-liners that say "we're okay, ____ says hi"

... you know, it really isn't a whole lot of use for me to try to do anything about my weight. It just isn't working. I saw on TV once that a person's body naturally wants to stay at a certain weight.........

which, for me, is 50+ pounds heavier than i'd like to be.

plus the leg's getting all weird and such... *le sigh* the ankle feels better, but now the whole thing is the problem.

tried a limp-run the other night. actually was very low-impact. xD

the bonsai is getting more leaves. quite an ugly plant, actually, but it provides some life and greenery in the room.

next year I'm going to force some hibiscus to bloom over the winter.

if there is a winter next year. xD

because this year, we don't have one. it's the middle of January, yet we still have 40-degree weather.......

indeed, this is an interesting semester.

6:00 is the end of my day, every day.

tonight I think the campaign will include shaving my legs. I have absolutely no reason to except that I don't want to feel like Bigfoot's next mate anymore... @.@

bahahaha.

right then. more reading to do for two classes, write a paper, and work on a speech.

I don't like speeches. that is one form of public communication I can't handle, if only for the fact that I'm an extremely visual learner, and I can't make out two ends of a discussion point if I just listen to something...

although I did remarkably well on a listening test we had. (yes, we have them... urrrrgh) the only category where I kinda fell apart was identifying emotional cues.......

and for some reason, that doesn't surprise me at all. xDD

reading the books, campaign, then bed. good plan.
