Aldimar was not always divided up into three sections, but what happened was a claim to the throne put on my three different leaders of the factions within the society. The three leaders waged what is now known as The Dark War, gthis war lasted over 7,000 years, and ended with a treaty saying that the nation would have three leaders, each ruling over a district, each leader shall have an equal say in how the overall country is run. But, what is left out is the fact that this war was the first plot of the gods to destroy Aldimar. The god of deceit Kilist, and the god of battle, Cloystix, actually were given a mission from Akrit himself, to make the Aldimarians destroy themselves. So, they took the 3 most volitile leaders in the Aldimarian empire, the names lost to history, assassinated King Aldima themselves, and made it so they all thought they were next to become king. The war that followed did not destroy the country, it merely crippled it. That was the first attempt, the second attempt they tried the same thing, they went to the leaders of each district, and told them that they deserve to rule the kingdom, that they are the true leader, but this time the leaders met, and discussed this, they soon realized that they were all spoken to by the gods in disguise. And instead of fighting eaach other, they united in strength, creating the most powerful earthy army. This would be the first act of their soon to be declaration of war, it would also be the begining of the greatest war in all of history.
