- It was surprising the number of people who were at the party, of course some of them had probably crashed and a majority came because they were invited by a friend of a friend of a friend, much like himself. Yet there was still so much space Kyle could easily lean back as he took one more quick glance at Alexis' body and he didn't bump into anyone like he would have at one of the football parties the team so often had. He chuckled a little bit when the cheerleader asked if he saw anything he liked. "Oh, just, everything." he thought sheepishly, realizing that maybe he should tone down on the dirty thoughts for now. After all, the night was young and the party had just started, he could have a majority of the people in this room if he wanted, right now he was just messing around with this particular one. Of course even he knew that wasn't necessarily true. After all, one never just "messed around" with the head cheerleader, it simply wasn't done, one of those society hierarchy things that was covered in his psychology class last year. Kyle had hated that class though, the teacher made him tell the entire class about his family history, and then accused him of having a brother complex. That was the only time Kyle got sent to the office for assaulting a teacher.
When Chase came up to them it was a bit of a shock but Kyle smiled and graciously acknowledged him as a guest should do to their host. He had to stifle back saying something stupid though, like "if it isn't the man of the hour", that would just make him sound wasted already, and he hadn't even picked up a soda yet, so he settled for, "It was only one day, I'll catch up." The junior football star always had to do stuff like that around Chase, it was just a reflex to instantly shut up at this point. It wasn't because Chase made him nervous, it was just that he happened to be the best looking guy outside the football team, and there was no way Kyle was going to get caught staring at one of them, so he often indulged in this piece of eye-candy. Of course he still made sure he was never caught. If anyone knew he even came close to curious about his own sex he would be dead. Literally, he wouldn't put it past some of the guys on the team to beat him in a back alley for having the balls to share a shower room with them. That's why Kyle would never tell anyone what was really in his head. Although, it seemed Chase had noticed what was in his head only a moment ago as the party boy patted his shoulder, it was almost encouraging, and made Kyle want to go for Alexis even more.
When Freya walked up though the scene changed instantly and suddenly his mind wasn't on hitting on his friend anymore, but protecting her. He came close to going after the queen b***h just to insult her back but decided it would have been rude to leave Alexis right after having been treated that way. "Well, wasn't she charming." he said sarcastically, starring at the brunette leave with a rather unimpressed look on his face. "Some girls, just ignore her Alexis. Besides, she's probably just gonna end up puking behind some dumpster tonight, while you will be off with your dozens of suitors." he said casually in a mock Prince Charming sort of voice. It was weird but at parties he didn't feel the need to be serious like he did at school. It was probably because there wasn't scholarships or games or grades to worry about, just fun. "In fact, let me be the first of those many." he began, sticking his elbow out for her to slid her hand through. "May I escort you to the drink table, Mylady?" there was that corny voice again, he wasn't sure if it was working or not but it made him chuckle.
Life isn't about scoring goals..it's always been about winning.
