Today was a lazy day. My cousins stayed the night and my sister's boyfriend stayed the night, so I couldn't sleep in my room. I welcomed the pitch blackness of my living room. Of course, I was curled into a ball, shaking out of fear because the living room scares the hell out of me! You see, I'm pretty much 99.9999999% certain that there is a ghost in our house and is in our living room. I don't remember when it started, but it's always been moving stuff and I'd hear some crazy s**t. Example: It was just me and my little sisters in the living room. It was 10 - 11 o'clock (somewhere in that area of time) and all of the sudden the xBox turns on and the place where you put in the disk opens. Now, it's not my xBox (it's my lover's) and she has a controller that's plugged into the console. Basically, it's not wireless, so whenever the xBox turns on, so does the controller. When the xBox turned on by itself, the controller was still turned off. I checked and it was plugged in and everything. So, I turned off the xBox, grabbed my sleeping sisters, and bolted into my room for the night.
I do have one other experience that I remember very, very clearly. But, before I tell the story, there is some background knowledge that needs to be obtained. My mother is a lunch-lady at our high school. She used to babysit for a living, but her main kids moved to Omaha so she had to get a job. It's Summer now so my mom is babysitting again. She babysits 4 kids at the maximum, NOT counting my little sisters. Basically, these kids are obnoxious as HELL and they run up and down our hallway all the time. It's really obvious when they do because their footsteps are very distinct. Also, if you look at my house from a sky-view, it's basically a backwards 'L.' The Bottom part of the L is where our kitchen is. Turn to the left from the end of the kitchen and you can see down the hallway and at the end of the hallway is our living room. Rooms are on the right side of the hallway. Turn to the right at the end of the kitchen and there's a bathroom. There's a little space in where we keep the washer and drier almost directly when you turn to the left. And that's my house. Oh, we also have a Mickey bathroom. It's a bathroom where basically everything in it is Mickey Mouse. From the walls to the shower curtain. EVERYTHING is Mickey Mouse. The bathroom is in between my parent's room and my brother's room.
Now, I can tell you the story. I was home alone and in my room (directly across from the kitchen) and I was cleaning. I share a room with my three sisters, so it is incredibly messy. My mom had been talking about wanting it cleaned, so I decided that while they were gone, I'd clean it. So, I pick up a bunch of clothes and I go into the Mickey Bathroom to put them in the hamper. I just put them in there when I heard four very distinct children's footsteps run down the hall. I whipped around and ran into the kitchen. Once I was as far away from the hall as possible, I heard the sound of the drier door closing, but it didn't close all the way. When you close the drier door, the drier starts. Scared out of my mind, I called up my wifey and she came over so we could leave my house. I had to turn off everything because it's my pet-peeve if we leave the house and there's still lights or a t.v. on. So we turned everything off and left.
My stories might not be substantial enough evidence to prove that my house is haunted, but that doesn't mean that I don't get scared shitless. I'm really just a baby deep down. I can't help it. But, yeah. That's my stories.
...On the good side, I made chocolate chip cookies today! AND DAMN WERE THEY AWESOME. (: I also finished Code Geass last night. I cried. A lot. Nbd. Yeah. That's about it...I'm going to...sit here and find something to do for a while.
