So basically, here's what happened:

I was looking at my iPod and messing around with it because I was really bored. So I have this app. It turns iPods & iPhones and stuff into a basic lightsaber. You pick your character and the color of your sword, or you can create your own character. Each character has a special bio thingy just for fun. I made a character out of Sakura from Naruto, and her lightsaber was pink (no frickin' duh). Then I got reeeeaaaally bored, so I took, like, an hour and a half to write up this whole elaborate story line revealing why the crap Sakura was in the Star Wars dimension in the first place. And then, sometime last week, I re-re-read it (read it for the 3rd time), and realized how much fun this would be if I made it into a real story.

So here I am, one of the Ultimate Nerds, creating a fanfic combining Star Wars and Naruto. It was going awesomely up until yesterday, when the jump drive I had all of it on stopped working. So far, the story is forty frickin' pages long, single spaced. And I lost almost four chapters, about a thousand words each. It doesn't seem like a lot to write, considering that I've come this far, but those four most recent chapters were harder to write than the rest of the entire story combined. So I am currently trying to figure out a way to get my jump to work again, but there's only a slim chance. Basically, I lost a part of my story that I'll probably never be able to get it back to the way I had it before. So therefore, I am totally screwed over.
