Hmmm...Bellatrix is particularly appealing to me right now, so I believe I shall write a story through her perspective. If you don't know who Bellatrix is, then oh well. Read anyways.
Bellatrix walked briskly into the yard of Malfoy Manor, knife in one hand and wand in the other. She walked haughtily towards the door, the wind blowing her hair all over the place. As if it wasn't wild enough.. She thought to herself, rolling her eyes. Bellatrix walked to the door, and tried to open it, but it was locked. "Of course, Lucius and his precautions.." She muttered to herself, tapping her wand against the door. The door, a deep mahagony, opened at the touch of her wand. Narcissa, her sister and Lucius' wife, was sitting on the couch with her son Draco. "Cissy, there's a storm rolling in, and no sign of the Dark Lord. It's like he's disappeared from the world," Bellatrix said, strolling over to a plush chair by the fire and plopping down in it. "I know, Bella...the Mark is starting to fade away as well. Perhaps the Potter boy really finished him," Narcissa said, staring at the wall blankly. Draco sat there silently, twirling his wand around. His previous wand had been stolen by Harry Potter, who had then used it to defeat the Dark Lord. Bellatrix looked astounded at what her sister had just said. She pulled up her sleeve, and sure enough, the Dark Mark was beginning to fade. "Cissy, you don't really believe..?" Bellatrix said, going into shock. There was no denying it. The Dark Lord had really fallen at the hands of Harry Potter. "What else is there to believe? The boy won in the duel," Narcissa shrugged. Honestly, it didn't matter that much to her. She was never a major Death Eater anyways. And it was a relief to her that she would never have another Death Eater in her house, other than her husband and Bellatrix. Bellatrix looked at her sister in disbelief. The Dark Lord, bested in combat by a boy whose magic was mediocre at best? It seemed so unlikely to her.
The three of them sat in silence, and then Draco finally said, "Harry..he hit the Dark Lord with his own curse, just like when he was a baby. Their spells had bounced off each other.." Bellatrix was shocked at this new revelation. The Dark Lord had made the mistake of using the Killing Curse, and as a result, he was now dead. If only that hadn't been such a favorite spell of his.. Suddenly, there was a rapid pitterpatter against the window. Bellatrix looked towards the wind, and just as she did so, a branch flew through the window. Narcissa and Draco dropped to the floor, crawling over to the stairs. Bellatrix laughed and said, "Well, I'm guessing that it's storming now." The rain came in the window like a flood, making Bellatrix crawl to the floor and move over to where Draco and Narcissa were. "Let's move to the kitchen at least, that way the wind won't be in our faces.." Bellatrix stood up, and walked to the kitchen. She sat down at the table, and waited to see if Narcissa and Draco were coming. They were. The two of them walked into the kitchen, soaking wet. They had gotten drenched when the window had been shattered by the branch.
