I was just finishing my rampage through Lex's remaining stuff, still wearing my blood pendant, when I decided to stop for a quick break. I found this photo recently and wanted to find out more about it. The photo had six young cat people in it. I found a second picture too, but I concentrated on this one more. On my little break, I peeked into my closet only to realize I had no food left in my stash. Mostly likely Koopling's doing. So step out of the house and and stretched, looking off toward the river, thinking which fish I could catch this time of day. A small boy with rabbit ears caught my eye and sat there and watched him. After awhile, I thought less about catchin fish and more about catching the boy. Getting down on all four, I hid myself amoungst the tall grass and started creeping up on the boy. His ears and nose twiched and he took off running as I got close. I went after him on all four. The chase last for quite a while and ended in a small village where I finally caught up with the boy and tackled in him to the ground. Before I was able to sink my teeth into his neck, several people grab me and restrain me.
I struggled to get them to let go only to end up on the bottom of a dog pile. They didn't want me to hurt that boy...but if they had let go..I would've retreated....But they didn't...and the blood gem around my neck began to glow, my fur grew black, and my teeth and claws grew long, and my eyes shined just as the gem around my neck did. All I really remember is releasin so much anger, that I was tired afterward, but just as my anger had disappeared, my hunger did as well.
When I finally returned to normal, I was covered in blood, mostly on my face, but didn't have a scratch on me. Bodies lied all over the ground, and some of them were only half there. I knew what had happened, and once I had processed it, I snatched the gem off and burried it in my pocket.The scary part is not the fact that I turned, but couldn't control it like other times. As a matter of fact, I barely controlled it other times. This time I've scared myself beyond belief...Scared enough to make me want my friends. Thus my arrival at the WTGR thread about an hour later...
After gettin cleaned up, eating, and having some Coco Moo (hot chocolate), twas nap time. So...I did. Went right to sleep....
I was just wakin up and looked around....the ground was black, and i seemed to be in a hut...but it all seemed so familar...my hair was a lot more frizzy then it was before I went to sleep, and I was in a tight yellow shirt with this black pants. Outside the hut, there was a lot of noise. Lots of shouting, and angry roaring.
Just as I was gettin to my feet, another cat girl ran into the hut and grabbed me by the arm. Her skin and fur were snow white, and her eyes were bright red. She seemed very young and small, which made me realize that I seemed smaller. The cat girl grabbed my arm with a look of worry on her face. Her was like a little kid's voice.
"Come on! We got to go now!", she said, pulling me toward the door of the hut.
I wanted to say, 'Go where? What's goin on?', but only mews and coos came out my mouth.
"Those big lizards are back! And they're mad!" she said.
Just as I was about to ask her what was going on, my words were swallowed by screams. A blue dragon's head hung over the two of us, smiling viciously. As it came down with open jaws, we both dove out of the way and scurried behind the hut. I followed the white neko girl, practically wettin myself, dodging bodies of dragons and people with cat ears and fur, until we came to an even larger hut that was half destroyed.
The white cat girl ran up to an older women, huffing her words out,"Mom...I found her..."
The women had long curly rose red hair and beautiful red eyes. She wore torn red kimono and a tiara made of flowers. Her cat ear twitched as she turn away from four other kittens toward the two of us.
"Did Lexius come back?" the White cat girl blurted out.
"Yes," said the women in a soothing and heart warming voice,"right after you left. Thank heavens you found your sister though...good job Tina."
The cat girl purred and clung to the women's side. I sat back and stared at them both.
'Sister? She's my sister? ...So....that means...' I thought to myself, eyes fixed on the womens face.
"M-mom?" I finally said.
The women looked down at me when I spoke and pulled me in for a hug. I grabbed onto her her and held her for dear life.
Including me, there were three young cat girls and three cat boys. one of the cat boys that had short red hair, red eyes and held a pair of broken glasses in one hand tugged that the womens pants. "Where's dad?"
"He's coming in a few...I hope..."
The fighting outside the hut started to get closer and closer.
That's when two men came in.
One was elderly and had grey fur covering his face, the other was a tall man with long black hair, bright yellow horns on his head and two dark colored wings. Both had black ears and tails.
The other five kids ran to the dark haired man crying 'Daddy!'
The grey cat muttered somethin about 'help for the kittens' and 'the blood gem'. That's when the three adults began to talk amoungst themselves. The elder cat held up a bright red gem on a gold chain and put it around the neck of the kid that first asked about 'father'. Then the adults made a new hole in the back of the hut and rushed the children out. At the same time, a blue dragon, larger then the earlier one, ripped off remainder of the roof. This caused me and the other young cat kids to huddle closer around the women. It glanced at the entire company, then stretched his claws out toward the boy with the gem. The women quickly bit down in his hand and looked as though she was settin it on fire. The dragon roared in pain and dug his claws into the back of the woman. That's when both the elder cat and the dark haired man jumped into the fight.
All six of us watched in horror as the eldest cat was encased in ice, then shattered.
The women was torn into shreds by the dragon's claws, and the father stood bloody, holdin the dragon's jaws open as they slowly began to close on him.
He yelled as us "Run! Now! Get out off here!" And as the dragon's jaws shut on him, the six of us ran screaming from the hut. As we were running we heard roars coming from behind us, and the ground shook under our feet. Tina, who seemed like the biggest, held onto me tight as the boy with the gem, who seemed smaller, held onto my tail.
One of the other kittens pointed upward at large eagles that were flying over head. The eagles dropped boulders on the dragons, then one by one, picked each of the cat kids up and carried them away. The two other boys were picked up first, then, the boy with the gem. I looked up to see even more eagles flying in all directions, carrying cat children. One swooped down and grabbed Tina, who deperately tried to keep her grip onto my harm...but I slipped out of her hands and watched her as she was carried off.
I cried, trying to form words in my mouth "DON'T LEAVE ME! PLEASE!" Tears pouring out of my eyes, "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!!"
Next thing I know...I wake up, covered in water, to see Chazu's face staring down at me with a worried look.
