Sekhmet musings for 12/10/10:

*soft lioness rumble* Today is a gentler day of mine. Look to the felines you keep in your home. Watch their muscles stretch and move, watch how agile their bones twist, see how wise they look as the gaze at you. Today is a day of reflection and easy healing. Remember the calm before the storm. Learn to relax and survey your territory. There are times for power and then there are times where you need to learn to just bask in the sun. Remember me today by treating yourself as you should. Relax and don’t take crap from anyone. Today regal reds suit me, rather than the more extreme reds. Strong mints and hot tea would be much appreciated as would perhaps a nice smelling candle. Meats are always welcome.



My note: Perhaps today is supposed to be a day to remember the softer, lusher side of Sekhmet. I think we are supposed to remember this side, so that we can take that attitude into ourselves. What my musings kind of are telling me is that it is a bubble bath, spoil yourself within reason sort of day! YMMV.
