THE RED SAMURAI
He was a warrior like no other! Kind, gracious to all of mankind. He lived in a small village where his father taught him how to fight when he was old enough to swing a stick. After his father was cut down when a clan of ninjas attacked the village, he took up the mantle of protecting the village, and fought off what remained of the ninjas. Not pleased with this, the leader of the ninjas sent assassins after the samurai, all of whom failed in killing him. During a fight with the best assassin the ninja leader had to offer, he seized his would-be killer's sword, and cut him down with it. The sword, known as Muramasa, fed on the blood of the previous wielder as well as the blood of anyone it cut down. It passed ownership of itself to the warrior, corrupting his soul more and more with every person he killed. As it fed, it materialized in the form of three Hell Hounds around his person that feed on the blood of those taken by the blade. He now wanders the world in search of the ninja leader, killing everyone in his path. In ten years, he has not yet been successful in finding his target.
