Energy Healing: Animals
I want to make a difference
But humans find it so hard to trust
Making decisions based on lies,
Cruelty, cold selfishness, or lust
Perhaps the way to go
Is the path much less taken
Helping animals in the worst of pain,
Those in peril or those that have been forsaken
It is tempting to walk in the footsteps
Of all those that have come before
Yet I know it'd be best to walk my own path
I know this in my very core
Animals trust blindly
Even after suffering such trauma
So why shouldn't I help those innocents
That want to live a life void of drama?
I'm not so clever as to work with needles,
Restraints, terrible bites,or disease
But I can help them with my energy
To put body and mind at ease
Perhaps this is the path worth taking
Assisting those unable to help themselves
Those living in shelters, wishing for homes,
Those wanting love even above health.
