Adorned in pinks and oranges
Turning hibiscus tea into sweet hibiscus wine
As we sing and dance to a drummed chorus
Sistra and mizmar trill through the air
Laughter and song fill up the night sky
Skirts twirling round with flowers adorning our hair
As our kas take merry wing and fly
Dua Hethert! Lady of Joy!
Shining bangles jingling at your wrists
Both women and men celebrate your great happiness
With tumbles and the most extravagant of flips
You, divine queen, are sleek and bright of face
Your tender beauty is that to rival any other
Thank you for bestowing upon us your fabulous tastes
As our generous and festive bovine mother.
