I don't even bother to open my eyes anymore. The world is so unreal to me- it's so distant and warped. I thought that if I could escape to my dreams I'd find my answer... but I can't even tell if I'm awake or sleeping.
This Dream Diary I leave behind tells of what I've found. My only hope is that I find my answer in time...
~~~~~First Night.
"Why am I outside?" My words echoed in the darkness surrounding my balcony. Somehow, I knew I was dreaming but why I was standing upon my balcony was beyond me. The surreal scenary that beckons me during the day revealed a black desert awaiting me below. Yes, this was my world at night. This haunted mass of a planet that sretches out of reach. I took a moment to scan about before going back into my room.
I found my bed empty and my books unreadable. My video game system had all but vanished into the air. Upon turning my set on, an eye stared back at me beckoning me to come closer. I shut it off, then turned to my door. Should I leave? Should I try to explore the world, knowing how warped it is? Before I could truly grasp my fears, my hand lay upon the door knob and slowly turned it. The door opened and I felt something push me though.
~~~~~~Central Hub.
I found myself in the center of a strange room. Surrounding me were 13 doors. I stared back at the one to my room, then looked away sheepishly. I came to this dream to find something, but what I search for I am unsure of. I could tell just one thing of this world already- it was huge. I needed a faster way of going from place to place.
I began my search with a pink and purple door to the south of me. The ground seemingly moved below me and anything I stepped on made a strange sound. It was dark here and I lost sight of the door as pushed forward. I felt like something was watching me, it was an odd feeling I'd soon learn to cope with in this world.
The objects upon the ground formed groutsque creatures, and in a circle of them I found my transportation. An old bicycle was laid down to rest here. I felt a chill run down my spine as moved to get on the bike. I did my best to pretend that I wasn't a little nervous here and continued on.
It wasn't long till I found what appeared to be automatic doors in the void of this room. Curious, I approached them and found a mall of all this. An odd blonde woman passed me by while bumbling some alien language. I moved my mouth slightly to speak and she went and flipped me off. It was the damnest thing a stranger could do to a person. I soon forgot about her and went on.
I ended up in what could have been an office. There was an odd girl behind the counter with blazing purple eyes and a man with a giant red E as his head. In the next room I found a Flute upon a table. I took to play along with singing man in the chair next to the table. He seemed fond of music, even if I wasn't a good player. Long after I stopped playing I could still hear him singing as went to leave the mall.
Instead of the door I found a manhole cover. It led to a forest in the middle of nowhere. I followed the strange path and bumped into a Frog along the way. I suddenly felt funny and I noticed that I became a frog. I turned back to normal when I touched the bike again. It appears like I have powers here but I don't know what good could come from turning into a frog... Nevertheless I continued though the forest. Where the trees too thick to continue, a red squid whispered in my ear. It became black for awhile and when I woke up I was trapped in a maze.
I couldn't figure out the maze so I did the first thing I could think of- I pinched my cheek. I woke the sounds of wind blowing my curtains in as the darkness still existed outside.
