Dorron Javalinski

Ages: During the events of The Forgotten Ones: Frozen Tears: 12 - 20
During the events of The Forgotten Ones: Risen Swords: 200 - 205
During the events of The Forgotten Ones: Rebirth: 12,000
Race: Human. His life is extended by his guardian, Orion.
Gender: Male

Appearance: Dorron is normally seen as a grizzled middle aged sorcerer. Scars cover his body almost as much as the magical runes emplaced when he absorbed the essence of Malificus. These runs always glow with a ghostly blue hue. His eyes were brown when he was a boy but after having acid splashed into them during his torture at the hands of the elven king, they have been milky white sometimes being filtered in differing colors depending on his state of mind. He is physically fit for the most part as most of his spells rely on him being in the middle of one on one combat. He has shoulder length unkempt brown hair and is normally dressed in his blue and white robes.

Personality: At the beginning of the series, Dorron is carefree and trusting. Through the events of his life at the hands of the elven king, though, he becomes jaded and paranoid. At the end of the first part, Dorron is suffering from psychological fractures in his personality normally lashing out at anyone seemingly at random; which only serves to isolate him further from his associates and closer to his guardian. During the evens of TFO: RS, he has taken on the name Dementa and has fused his spirit with his guardian. He has a certain hatred of anything that lives and deep compassion for anything that he has killed or has witnessed die. He lives in a suspended reality in which he believes he is god of all around him. His psychological troubles continue as the Crown of Threads is used to try and control him and his guardian. By the time TFO: R rolls around, he has been completely absorbed by his guardian. Only his physical form remains as Orion searches for his love, Lyra. Dorron is never completely aware of his Guardian, he feels he is only growing more insane during is isolation and has created another personality to cope with his fear of being alone.

Abilities: Dorron, without the help of his guardian, is a capable human mage. He has shown the ability to turn other's spells into a flock of doves and then another ability which seems to control a mass crowd of less intelligent life forms. He normally uses these two spells in conjunction with one another to create a massive flock to go and pester his foes as he prepares his own spells - most of which require tremendous physical energy, time and focus to even begin to cast.
0000Dovescape: A counter spell that turns any other spell, no matter its power, into a flock of doves equal to the amount of life force the countered spell expends.
0000Sanity's Requiem: A psychic spell that first numbs the extremities, normally having the host believe it is some sort of physical weakening spell. This is merely a distraction. While they are focused on resisting the minor physical effects, the spell roots itself at the brain stem and modifies all sensory receptors to display what Dorron constructs. As the victim faces this new effect (once they become aware of it) the spell then locks their mind in a separate reality, separating the mind from the soul and body while Dorron uses the body as a mindless puppet. Normally, what is needed to resist this spell is to ignore the initial effect as the secondary effect is highly vulnerable to being nullified when a mental block is put up.
0000Sun's Charge: A physical spell that creates a magical mirror in front of Dorron, showing the reflection of the foe attempting a physical attack. If they continue with the attack, the double leaps out and defends Dorron to the death. The double has all of the abilities, strengths and weaknesses of the original but can not copy memories, language or anything mental (as well as most magical abilities). Resistance is easy - Don't attack the mirror.
0000Flame Flail: Summons, in Dorron's hands, a flail made completely of fire and molten magma. The spell will not harm Dorron in any way. The flail's head explodes with sticky fire, much like having a white phosphorous grenade go off wherever it make contact. The head regrows over time, normally within a few seconds, though it can only do this four times. If thrown, depending on how many 'head' charges it has left, it will explode with the force and spread of up to five white phosphorous grenades. If there isn't a head left when thrown, its merely akin to one grenade.
0000Searing Beam: Fires a beam issued from one of Dorron's fingers towards any target within line of sight. When and if it hits it is capable of burning a hole through three feet of solid titanium. This is made up of light so it can be reflected by a reflective surface (like mirror armor).
0000Sighing Sword: With one quick motion as if Dorron were using a sword to slash, a single wave of cutting wind rushes forward until it has been completely dispersed. This normally can't kill but it can push with the force of 200mph winds and can leave many miniature cuts across any unprotected bodily area. Hiding behind something nice and solid (like a large boulder) can easily stop the spells effects, or by sending a fire type attack (as the heat will disperse the wind instantly) or with another wind spell with the same wind force as this spell.
0000Peril Omega: Dorron can call upon any mundane weapon or object with the area into his hand or floating around him. Reversing the words of this spell in the incantation can send the objects forward until they come upon something solid to stop them. The items are dematerialized and rematerialized during their transportation during both variations of this spell.
0000The Forbidden Spell: A tremendous spell which calls upon most if not all of Dorron's strength and life force. A person with a known name can not use this spell. A person without a known name can not be targeted by this spell (known as in 1 or more persons know of the name of the person or target in question). This spell was stolen from the mouth of Malificus himself - one of the gods within Dorron's realm. With this spell, a god or Forgotten One may give or take away immortality. If a Forgotten One uses this spell on a god (once they learn the true name), the god will be erased from all memories and records of societies - forcing the god to diminish into nothing, their powers being absorbed by the Forgotten One.

History: Dorron has a troubled past, to put lightly. When he was first born and after his mother gave him his true name (the first name given to you after your birth), Dorron's father killed her. He hadn't been in the room to hear the name and thusly did not know the true name. You see, Dorron's parents decided before the conception that they would give birth and raise a legendary Forgotten One, a person free of the name curse put on all living beings and animals to lessen their potential strength for each time the name is uttered. It was also a way they could be summoned without their permission via certain spells. This gave Dorron several advantages in his life. Dorron was mainly raised on an old island called Gallibah, the supposed birth place of the god of change. When the Ordo Malificus came to arrest Dorron's father for treachery against the elven king, Dorron was told to run into the woods that surrounded their small cottage and not to return until he no longer saw the torchlight of the knights.

Something set upon the boy in that forest that night. An old spirit that dwelled there and protected the two up until this moment. Dorron was given his guardian without his knowledge and any time he was in danger he would simply black out; Normally waking to a scene of gore. The first occurrence was when he came upon a small village that betrayed the king. The Ordo Malificus soldiers were pillaging and burning the town to the ground. Dorron went to hide in a nearby shop, thinking he had escaped the knights only to witness a girl about to be violated by a soldier. When he caught the attention of the knight, he blacked out and woke to a gory sight. The girl became his sister and the two traveled through the country, stowing away when they could and stealing when they had to. As they grew older though, the two were caught by the Ordo Malificus. After much torture, the guard learned that Dorron was immune to calling. Informing the king, Dorron's mind would only begin to break as they applied their best torturers to him and his sister.

When they were about to finally put an end to Dorron, he blacked out only to wake free but mentally shattered. It was this madness that also freed him of his cautious nature. In broad daylight he would free human slaves from the elves, leading them to safety and fighting the soldiers off singlehandedly. This and the adulation from the humans that he rescued slowly built up his pride until he lead an entire revolution. Giving the order to give no elf, man woman or child, quarter; To slay without mercy. It was a bloodbath. More than half of the human population was wiped out before Dorron reached the castle to slay the king. It was here the elven king called on his master, the god of magic: Malificus. But Malificus couldn't see Dorron, he was invisible to the god due to the loss of his true name. It was then that Dorron reached into the mouth of the deity and ripped from his stomach the Forbidden Spell. He used it on the god, destroying it and then had the elven survivors gathered up. This is when he created the Wailing Willow, from the bedrock of the elven king's castle.
