A hand reaches out to you from the darkness and just before you are able to even make a grab, it is swallowed in a wave of shadows. You grope desperately in the dark, trying to find that last flicker of hope. Too afraid to call out, you thrust your hand into the darkness, even if it is to find help you know you can do this much for yourself. There is only so much trouble you can put others through before you become a burden. Mouth open, but silent, you curse the sky above you, why cause so many problems for a creature that can do nothing in retaliation?
The sky doesn't answer, he stares down at you through blind, black eyes. Cruely watching but never answering. You are alone in this sorrow. You pound on the ground like a spoiled child, wishing, hoping all this would somehow just end. But, it seems endless, the shadows sprawled in front of you only grow in intensity as time lurches forward. Then finally the sky speaks to you, he answers in the glowing warmth from the east. You cover your eyes to block out the response.
Finally you release your eyes from their blindfold and look around you. People are staring at the unending blue above them, all of them crying from the joyous response. And, finally, you can see it. You were never really alone at all.

They never really start all that cheerful do they? meeeeeh dunno on this one either mah poor brain's been lazy lately and now i'm actually startin to try to make it work so he's bein fussy. . . yea it makes sense that my brain is a boy ne? actually the song i was hearing had nothing to do with this . . . at all . . . cept the hand at the begining, the instrumentals gave off the feeling of being swept away . . . wait. . . wasnt that a lyric in the song. . . ? . . . Oh weeeeeeeeeeeeell ^^;
