For all those days I'v missed...
Highway Man
Lone and violent lay he waiting at dusk
For the heavens to leave and the dust to settle
From the busy day of horses and men
To reap the rewards of the midnight battle
Shadows creep out to cover the ground
The forest the town the old dead farmhouse
The sky fights the blackness with orange and yellow
When all is silent black and cold
His velvet touch kicks off on his steed
Black and sleek he ran
The Highway Man to see his juliet
And take the wealth he shares
