"Ouch!!" I bellowed. The Native Gaians threw me out. SO I'M A VAMPIRE!
Maybe I should explain.
Bunches of centuries ago, since about 1500 or 1400, Native Gaians roamed Gaia. One day, a Native Gaian got bit by a bat. Her eyes narrowed, she grew fangs, and she grew paler. When she bit her food, all of a sudden it turned midnight black. When she was in battle with an enemy, she had no choice but to bite this enemy. The enemy had the symptoms of a vampire. That's how it started.
So you see, bats have started this whole rivalry.
I gazed beyond the pasture. I was so glum. "Huh?" I wondered. There was something in the hazy distance. Human head and chest, the rest horse. Not a satyr, but...a centaur!!!! I bolted across the land, hollering, "Hey you!"
The centaur glanced behind his back, and...
