I stood there in Chior today and litsened to Mrs. Case list off the students she wanted to be in the small group for the opening of the song and the solo at the end. I tried so hard to impress my teacher this time since I wasnt able to get the small group or solo the last five times. Instead, about the same people got it as always. Aria-the top singer in our class- got into the small group with a few other highest scorers, and the second best singer in the class got the solo. I never seem to reach it even though it feels so damn close!
sad I'm not quite sure what I did wrong but the teacher said she only picked the voices that were unique. I was so depressed when I heard that. Not only was I crushed, Aria had to rub it in my face that she got into either one. It's days like this where I just wat to crawl in a hole and die.
crying I KNEW something awful was going to happen today when I literaly fell out of bed.
