I saw Avatar last night! It was the best movie I've seen in a long time. Though the film had a high price tag to create it, the story was superb and I plan on buying that beast when it comes out to dvd.

Okay so in a nut shell the movie is about this new planet called Pandora. There are life forms on the planet that are cat-like and have their lives tied to their god Ewea (Ee-a-Wah). Humans come to Pandora to drill up a new power source from beneath the trees in the forests of Pandora and this means to kill the natives. The scientists in the film are trying to diplomatically try to get the natives to move by created bodies like that of the natives and link themselves into them and interact with them. However as the movie progresses one of the scientists falls in love with one of the naties, Neytiri. And then the war between native and human occurs and many people die. -skips through movie- And then the scientist that fell in love joins the natives forever in his own new cat-like body and they lived happily ever after, the end.

But you have to watch it to get the other parts of the movie I didn't mention.
