Cats Gone Wrong
Chapter 4
Refreshing time




As we ran into the school we ran for the classroom. As me and Setsune were about to the door when Daymond came and stopped us and gave me a look that lasted only a second like he wasn’t even there.
Setsune looked tranquil as if she was reading our minds and looks.
And then she smiled and giggled. “We better hurry up or sensei will be mad at us.” The bell rang again and class started as we sat down. That whole period Daymond kept staring at me in between the lesson and finally I gave up and stared right back . He seemed a little more happier. As the class ended Setsune asked me if I would like to go to her house this evening. “Sure.” “But I need to call my mom first and tell her were I’m going.” I walked outside to the pay phones. I put a coin in and called my mom and told her where I was going.
When I got off the phone I saw Daymond coming up to me and I felt like I was about to let my feelings burst out as I ran over and hugged him. He said “It’s okay Lin it is not your fault.” he shuffled my hair and waved good bye. I turned as red as a tomato. I finally felt a little bit of the bad memories had gone away. I ran towards the school door and Setsune and told her I could come. As we set out to Setsunes’ house in the country side were memories were brought back in a very refreshing way. “ This is where we use to go to all the time to play and have picnics with Yuishi.” Then I felt as if Yuishi was there with us. Then a flock of Cranes Flew Over Head. “So did you get a new house Setsune?” She looked at me and said. “No. But we did have difficulty moving back in.” she looked as if she was having the time of her life looking off in the scenery and looking at the countries beauty.
As I took in the sweet air I noticed that a orange cat was following far behind. Then it came to me. The cat was Daymond. I stared and the cat jumped. Surprised It jolted forward and ran into Setsune. Was he trying to protect me. She hit the ground and her knee was bleeding. I bent down to help her up. But the cat bit into my pants to keep me in that spot. She stood up and she was okay. “soooo cute.” As she Picked up Daymond and started squeezing him to death. Once he ran out of breath she put him down. I was laughing in my head because Daymond just got a fan.
As we continued walking I knew Daymond was following. But this time I knew he won’t come close.
We were finally finished walking and in front of Setsune’s house. “That sure was a long walk.” She nodded and opened the door and said. “Make yourself at home.” And when I walked in it was as if it had looked 5 years ago. “Wow.” This brung back lots of memories from our childhood. She Showed me all the rooms in her house. Except one which was her room. When we went in there were cats galore. This was why she liked Daymond so much. As my mouth dropped open. She said that I could only stay awhile.
And as time passed it was time to go home. As I said good bye Daymond was there waiting asleep. I poked him and he woke up and he got up and said. “You need an escort. Because You shouldn’t walk these streets alone at night.” As he blushed a little but kept his cool. And as we walked down the streets bathed in the beautiful moonlight.
